What is Barefoot Agent™?
Barefoot Agent is an Internet technology based solution that automates your entire property rental process, from contact management, searches, booking, and generating leases, to accounting and check writing. The flexible architecture allows it to be deployed in your office or hosted by Barefoot. It runs using an Internet Browser so you don't have to install any other client software.

Am I going to be able to work off site through the Internet?
Absolutely and many agents already do.

Am I going to be able to use my database to make my Internet page interactive?
Barefoot iLink™ allows you to do exactly that with Barefoot Agent and provides real time web searches, reservations or booking. Please see the FAQ for iLink.

Can I fax directly from Barefoot Agent?
Yes, Barefoot Agent works well with all major recent fax software and printers.

Can I email listing sheets to a client?
Yes, you can email one or more listing sheets or other documents with pictures embedded at any time, or email URLs so customer can see the listing sheet via iLink.

Can I work with multiple customers at the same time?
Yes. With a click of a button you can open up a new "conversation" session, or go back where you left off on a previous conversation at any time.

What type of letter and reports does Barefoot Agent provide?
As part of the set up Barefoot will customize your letters and also teach you how to create any type of letter needed for your business. You can create reports on arrival, departure, due payment, late payment, security deposit return, leasing commission, listing commission, commission summary and much more.

How quickly does it take to make minor changes to reports and correspondence?
To make changes to documents or search fields only takes a few minutes and you can do it all yourselves-you will find that there is no need to contact Barefoot for this type of change. When you purchase our system we teach you how to make these modifications.

How do we simplify the porting of our existing data?
Ideally, if your data is stored in any popular database format, such as MS Excel or MS Access, your data can readily be ported into the Barefoot Agent server. We are happy to provide you with a data porting quote.

How many pictures, maps and diagrams or floor plans can I have per property?
You can have as many as you want. It is important to note that they do take up considerable storage space on your computer and do slow down the email process. We recommend that you save only a few in a JPEG format for each property and keep their size to 30 KB or less.

How long does it take to set up Barefoot Agent?
Standard set up is within a day. If you have custom requests, it will take longer, usually you see results within a few weeks.

What about Accounting?
We do all the bookkeeping and vendor management you need in Barefoot Agent. In addition, the system allows you to export and or linking too common accounting packages such as PeachTree and QuickBooks.

How long has Barefoot been in business?
Barefoot has been in business for over 4 years.

Can I talk with existing Barefoot customers?
Sure, we are happy to provide a list of referrals and working Internet solutions to demonstrate our software's capability.

How can I purchase Barefoot Agent?
Barefoot Agent can be purchased, leased or subscribed to over the Internet.

What is the cost?
Barefoot Agent is charged by agent or by the number of properties, It depends on your situation. You can either purchase on site or subscribe online. Barefoot iLink is a quarterly subscription plus a set up fee. Our pricing is very competitive with other solutions. Barefoot's value lies in its outstanding functionality and usability, the flexibility it provides your office and the various purchase options you have.

Is Barefoot Agent™ easy to learn?
We consider our software the most user-friendly system available. With our shortcut option, the system can be set up for your specific booking process-almost eliminating the need for training of your reservation staff. A demonstration is the way to really see how easy it is to run our system.

Why do you sell both directly and through a Reseller Network?
Our focus is actually to provide local resellers that can assist you. Because our system is modifiable you are getting a custom system as compared to the off the shelf system of our competitors. Our competitions direct sales force cannot understand all your specific needs like a local representative in your area. A direct sales force cannot hold your hand if your server breaks down and you have to reinstall your operating system. Resellers often are local Web, hardware and software companies that can assist you in other parts of your business and can provide services like additional training for less money than a direct sales approach. Of course, even with a reseller you can deal with Barefoot directly.
