Most resort communities are overflowing with vacation rental management companies all vying for properties to put into their pool of rental properties as well as the vacationers visiting their destination for a week.  It becomes simply a contest of sorts to see which company has the best rentals and the most guests. 

As we prepare for the upcoming Vacation Rental Management Association's Conference (VRMA) at the end of October, it is important to think about how we can get the most of attending it.  After all, conferences can be a major expense to most small businesses especially when it involves travel costs.  Not only do we want to introduce our services to potential customers, we want to gain something from the planned seminars, discussions and activities.
